The Embassy / Government are very strict on the applicant's photograph requirements. Your visa may be rejected if these requirements are not met.

- Taken within the last 6 months.

- Color photo only, with a plain white or light gray background.
- The face should occupy 70–80% of the photo.Keep a neutral expression, with both eyes open.The head should be centered, looking directly at the camera.
- Avoid glasses if possible; if necessary, make sure there is no glare, and the eyes are visible.

Iran Tourist Visa
In support of your visa application, you would require:
- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any.
- 2 Scanned recent color photographs.
- 1 Visa Application forms: completed and signed.
- Personal Covering letter: explaining purpose of travel to the country.
- Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 3 months with bank seal.
- Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country.
- Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay.
- Travel Itinerary: day-wise plan outlining all elements of the trip.
- Approval for the visa from Ministry of Foreign Affair Tehran( Visa Grant Notice).
- Applicant's last 6-months bank statement
- Applicant's last 6-months salary slips.
- NOC from Company(on company letter head with sign and stamped).
- Joining/Employment letter and employee I'd.
- Applicant's ITR of last 3-years .

A tourist visa is intended for travelers whose primary purpose is leisure, including activities such as tourism, visiting friends or family, and participating in social or recreational events. In contrast, a business visa is designed for individuals visiting primarily for business purposes, such as attending meetings, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, or training sessions.
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior to application and have two available blank pages.
It is at the discretion of the visa officer at the Embassy if they wish to call you in for a personal interview or not.
