Applicants are encouraged to apply for an Australian visa in advance, but no earlier than 90 days before their planned travel date. The Australian High Commission recommends submitting your application at least 3 weeks prior to departure to allow time for any unforeseen processing delays
The Australia Visa is an E-Visa i.e. it is not a Sticker visa endorsed on the passport, once decision is taken by the Australian High Commission; E-Visa will be mailed on the registered Email ID which is mentioned on the visa form.
The typical duration of an Australian visa is 3 months. You may request a longer stay, but must provide supporting documentation or justification for the extended period. The final validity of the visa is determined at the discretion of the Embassy.
The Australia Visa cover letter is a letter which summarizes your intent to travel, explaining
Purpose of your trip , when and where you intend to travel ,how your trip is going to be funded day-by-day itinerary for your trip along with duration of trip preferably mentioning your proposed date of travel.
All travelers applying for an Australian visa must meet the health requirements. The need for a medical examination and/or chest X-ray depends on factors such as your age, intended length of stay, and planned activities in Australia. If a medical examination is required, you will be notified after submitting your visa application.
No. If a medical and/or x-ray examination is required, the New Delhi visa office will notify you after your Australia visa application is lodged. You will then need to make arrangements to attend an approved immigration panel doctor of your choice.
It is highly recommended that you purchase health and travel insurance to cover yourself while in Australia, as medical treatment can be very costly. We can assist you in obtaining travel insurance, which is essential for international travel to protect against unexpected events such as medical emergencies, baggage delays, or loss.
