The Embassy / Government are very strict on the applicant's photograph requirements. Your visa may be rejected if these requirements are not met.

  • Two photographs
  • Taken within the last 6 months.
  • 3.5 X 4.5 cm
  • Color photo only, with a plain white or light gray background.
  • The face should occupy 70–80% of the photo.Keep a neutral expression, with both eyes open.The head should be centered, looking directly at the camera.
  • Avoid glasses if possible; if necessary, make sure there is no glare, and the eyes are visible.

Visa Process

  1. Passport valid for at least three months after departure.
  2. Two passport-sized photos.
  3. Cover letter explaining your visit and itinerary.
  4. Round-trip flight reservation.
  5. Proof of accommodation.
  6. Travel insurance covering at least €30,000.
  7. Bank statements showing adequate funds.Schedule an appointment at the Italian Embassy, Consulate, or VFS Global.At the appointment, submit documents, provide biometrics, and pay the visa fee.

Thailand Tourist Visa

In support of your visa application, you would require:

  1. Visa On Arrival.

    Additional Documents Required :

    If you are Salaried/Employed:

  1. Applicant's last 6-months bank statement
  2. Applicant's last 6-months salary slips.
  3. NOC from Company(on company letter head with sign and stamped).
  4. Joining/Employment letter and employee I'd.
  5. Applicant's ITR of last 3-years .

    If you are self-Employed :

  1. Business registration proof (GST/MSME/Incorporation/Other)
  2. Company's 6-month bank statement
  3. Applicant's 6-month bank statement
  4. Company's ITR of last 3-yeras.
  5. Applicant's ITR of last 3-years

    If you are Retired:

  1. Retirement letter.
  2. Pension proof.
  3. Last 6-month Bank Statement

    If you are a Student:

  1. Student I'd
  2. Birth Certificate

    If you are a Minor:

  1. Consent letter of the non-travelling parent

    If you are a Sponsored

  1. Sponsorship letter with sign

  4. Sponsor's employment proof
  5. Sponsor's Passport/PAN/Adhaar card.

    If you are visiting friend or relative:

  1. Invitation letter
  2. Address proof like any Electricity bill, any Utility bill etc.
  3. Inviter’s ID proof like Passport or Resident Permit.

The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application and have at least two blank pages available.

Employment is not permitted under a Business or Tourist visa.

It is recommended that each applicant have medical/travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $50,000 for the duration of their stay.

Flight and hotel reservations covering the entire duration of your stay are mandatory. VCS can assist you in securing the necessary reservations to meet visa requirements (T&C apply).

The processing time mentioned is only a guide based on information released by the embassy or specific time of year etc.

The visa fee and any other applicable charges are non-refundable.
