Visa Requirements

Mauritius Tourist Visa

1. The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the period of stay allowed in Mauritius.
2. Two visa forms (photocopy allowed) duly completed.
3. Two recent passport-size photographs.
4. Confirmed onward/return air ticket.
5. Onward visa.
6. Proof of adequate funds in the form of foreign exchange endorsement on passport and original receipt.
7. Bank statement for last 3 months.
8. Copy of Credit card.
9. Confirmed booking of accommodation is also required.
10. If the stay is sponsored by a Mauritian citizen, a letter is required from the Sponsor stating his/her name, address and the relationship.
11. Visa is valid for 90 days with single entry and can also be issued for a maximum stay of 90 days.
12. Processing time is 5 working days.
13. Visa is Gratis (free).

Mauritius Business Visa

1. The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the period of stay allowed in Mauritius.
2. Two visa forms (photocopy allowed) duly completed.
3. Two recent passport-size photographs.
4. Confirmed onward/return air ticket.
5. Onward visa.
6. Proof of adequate funds in the form of foreign exchange endorsement on passport and original receipt.
7. Bank statement for last 3 months.
8. Income tax return for last 3 years.
9. Copy of Credit card.
10. Confirmed booking of accommodation is also required.
11. A Covering Letter from the local Firm/Company recommending the travel and stating the Designation of the Applicant.
