Visa Requirements

Tourist Visa

1. The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of return and with at least 2 blank pages available for the visa. One photocopy of the data pages is also required.
2. One application form to be filled in completely and signed by the applicant.
3. Two recent passport size photographs in color on white background. One photo should be pasted (not stapled) on the form and the other photo to be given along with the application. Photographs should be of size 3.5cm x 4.5cm, in colour with good resemblance, 70-80% face coverage. Photograph should not be more than 6 months old.
4. Proof of accommodation (confirmed hotel booking).
5. Complete travel program including itinerary, dates and places to be visited.
6. A copy of the confirmed return ticket to India or the confirmation of the reservation.
7. Covering letter on a business letterhead (original) from your employer/company/school stating your position, the length of your service and the confirmation that the adequate leave/vacation has been granted.
8. Proof of sufficient financial means to cover all expenses during your stay such as:
- a. Salary/Pension slips of the last three months.
- b. Status of personal bank account for the last three months in letter from your bank, including the name and signature of the bank manager (original).
- c. Letter from your bank (original) stating credit limit on your credit card.
- d. Income Tax return for at least 2 years (Proof of paid Income tax).
9. Overseas medical travel insurance valid for all Schengen countries for the whole duration of your stay with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros for all risks like accident, urgent medical attention, emergency hospital treatment and repatriation. For multiple entry visas, an additional declaration covering further journeys accordingly needs to be signed. 10. Minors under the age of 18 if traveling alone have to provide a written consent certified by public notary of both parents or guardians having the custody of the minor. If traveling with one parent only, a written consent certified by public notary of the other parent or guardian is required.
11. For all Tourist visas only applicant himself/ herself are eligible to submit the applications in person. Representatives, Travel agents are not authorized to submit on applicant's behalf.

Business Visa

1. Passport: Valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of return with at least 2 blank pages available. Photocopy of the data pages required.
2. Visa Application Form: One form filled completely and signed by the applicant.
3. Photographs: Two recent passport size colored photographs (3.5cm x 4.5cm) with white background, 70-80% face coverage. One photo should be pasted on the form.
4. Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed hotel booking.
5. Return Ticket: Copy of the confirmed return ticket to India or reservation.
6. Invitation Letter: From the inviting company in Luxembourg detailing the purpose of the visit and business program.
7. Covering Letter: On business letterhead from the Indian company stating applicant's position, length of service, and purpose of visit.
8. Financial Means: Proof such as letter from inviting/employing company + bank statements (last 3 months) if company pays for travel; or salary slips + bank account statement letter (last 3 months) if self-sponsored; letter from bank stating credit card limit; income tax return (last 2 years).
9. Medical Insurance: Overseas medical travel insurance valid for all Schengen countries with minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros for entire stay.
